Wine Caves or cellars are chilly, a little creepy, but super cool. Especially in the midst of hot California summers, stepping into a 53 ish degree cave is sublime. But what if you don't have the land to build caves? Why, you put one into your house! Check out how super cool these wine cellars are- the contractor burrows a narrow tunnel straight down through one of your floors, then a spiral staircase winds down to the bottom, the selection of wines guiding your way. It also looks like a place to hide- imagine just pulling a rug over it and no one would find you! Like when the Jews were hidden during WWII or escaped slaves during the Civil War. I also just think hidden doors and chambers are delightful in houses. John and I plan on hiding many ingenious devices in our future home one day. So when you come to visit, pull the wall-mounted candle to open the bookcase that leads to a long creepy tunnel....

I think if i hid in there .... well it would be hilarious. hahhahaha imagine if you were in there for so long no one could find you.... and you HAD to drink all the wine. hahahhahahaha i CAN'T WAIT to pull the candle holder at your house! :)
