Thanksgiving break has begun! Relaxation and plenty of eats results, but so does the panicked cram for finals. ah, the proverbial double-edged sword. My husband to be and I are sitting in front of the fire at my parent's house, both on laptops studying studying. but we have hot tea and chocolate cake and i am quite so very cozy!
i can't believe it has been a week since i have posted! nothing of note i suppose. but i do feel bad, because i do get rather upset if you other bloggers don't exercise your creative energies for more than 3 days (you know who you are!).
as a side note- here is a weird thing about fairy tales (which are not just disney movies, but are in books and our knit into the stories and mindset of our culture): princess and prince have an attraction, they face some sort of trial, then they fall in love and get married and THEN-- "they lived happily ever after." so here is the thing, what happens in that happily ever after? and why is it the fairy tale doesn't continue after marriage? i've never known a fairy tale about married people. it wouldn't be purchased i suppose. audiences love the sexual tension maybe. this all leads, obviously, to the fact that i am getting married and am embarking on my "happily ever after," and...i guess i won't have a fairy tale anymore, and maybe married people are boring, thats why they arent written about. oh hm hm. wouldn't it be great to have a comparative english class in college of disney movies to other literature/ real life?

oh corinna you will always have a happy fairy tale!!!
I know that you will always have that sparkle in your eyes and that skip in your step. Every day of your marriage will be an adventure and one that you will need to hold onto. You should keep a journal and write in it everyday as the continuation of your "happily ever after"
i love you corinna dear and can not wait to watch your love story unfold.
happy thanksgiving and may you be surrounded with all of the wonderful things that you are thankful for. (I know im not physically near you but I am close in heart!)
love you always
love!
