I got a silver in the biathlon, the event that combines cross-country skiing with a gun strapped to my back and four stations of target shooting with five shots each.
Husband got a gold in the Super G, the event that combines downhill and slalom
I also have an active imagination.
While I wish I could say I compete at the Olympic level,
Or at least went up to the Vancouver games,
We went this weekend to Squaw in North Lake Tahoe,
Site of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games.
A cold, bright sun and some fresh snow.
It was a wonderful day.
