Happy Monday!
My weekend was birthday dinners for dad, the harvest, horseback riding, studying, and our first San Francisco rainy day!
Though Sunday was drizzly in the city, we made the most of it with plenty of soup, hot chocolate, and reading. Saturday had been bright and blue in Napa, yet still cool; perfect for harvest. Brix was at about 24 and 1/2, so ready to go!
Because harvest is one of my favorite times of the year,
have a look at the family grape harvest!

This photo is typical of this year's crop throughout the valley: some beautiful full bunches, and then a good number of "sunburned" grapes (which, clearly, is the one that looks like raisins in this photo).
Most vintners reported lower yield than normal, but what there is is a high quality grape.

Even your shirt matches. Thank you for sharing about these delicious grapes. This weekend Geoff and I cuddled up with a glass of wine and a yummy pizza. Not the best for our wedding diets, but we enjoyed every bite. :) Thank you for adding delicious to my Monday.
i know! plum has been my color this fall. we also bought purple accent pillows on sunday!
