"Imagine stumbling across a sea of flowers bathed in powdery morning light. In it are golden tulips, countless sprigs of lavender, and roses the size of saucers, the color of strawberry milk. As you get closer, you notice each bloom is made of something unexpected—painterly chiffon, ruffled tumbles of eyelet and lace, and the sheerest sweaterknit imaginable. Warmth rushes over you. You feel at peace and in love."
That lovely bit is from Anthropologie's January mailing. It sounds so nice in the midst of winter. Though today the weather was "brazilliant" (a new word John made up to encompass everything great about brazil and brilliant). Sunny and warm, a California surprise at its best. Just like my honeymoon, a wonderful surprise from my husband. We went to Cancun! And I now have a tan! But on our last day I woke up with a very sore throat, and now my neck and shoulders and head just want to take a hot bubble bath and guzzle Nyquil. What a boo way to start out married life :(
I haven't been, but the next time we are in PA, let's go here: http://www.longwoodgardens.org/ExploreLongwood_1_3_2_4.html
